The hotel charged nearly £2000 as a pre-authorisation. It took two hours at reception to rectify this issue. The hotel offered no compensation not even a free drink.

the staff was pleasant. the location offers convenient access to many shops and restaurants. their open courtyard allows for relaxation with food and drinks.

i found very little room for putting clothes away. the hotel is in a pedestrian area. i think guests should be advised of this before arrival so taxis can provide help with luggage.
